I went out to the girls to give fresh water and the last feed for the night, I brought the water for momma and her chicks and they were all excited because they scratched dirt all in the last water, I knelt down to observe for a few minutes as you do, and 3 of the chicks and momma were drinking at the water, the 4th chick was well behind the others mimicking mom drinking, everybody put their heads down to grab water and then lifted to swallow but that funny little chick was nowhere near the water doing all the motions, she finally went to the water but I was laughing, it was so silly, just thought I would share.
