Funny breathing after rain. Stuck water?

I have a free-ranged, 3-month-old Barred Rock chick that is breathing funny. It started yesturday after a heavy downpour. I got everyone in, and after that her breathing went crackly. What is it?

She's the only one w/ crackly breathing? Does she have any discharge or swelling of the eyes, how about sneezing or leakage from her nares (nostrils)?

I thought I was the only one. I have one hen whose breathing was very crackly breathing - and, btw, that is a perfect word for it - but upon inspection I had several (all my new chicks) with runny noses and eyes. I gave everyone VetRx under their wings about a week apart and put some vitamins & electrolytes in their water. I checked last night and there was no more crackly breathing from that particular hen and everyone's eyes and noses seemed to be almost 100% cleared up. I ordered some Terramyin eye ointment that just came in today that I'm going to put on everyone - just in case it's not 100% cleared up.

All that I can see is a lot of saliva or something down in it's throat. I opened up her mouth gently and saw bubbly stuff. No discharge, no eye probems, just that.
