Funny! Broody Silkie found laying on frozen peach!!

I'm wondering if she will break her own broodiness, having read about putting ice under a broody to break them....

Too funny. Guess she was keeping cool.

I didn't even know chickens would eat fruit let alone frozen fruit. Guess I still have some reasearch to do (I just added 2 poulets to my flock).

In a Silkies mind if it is close to egg shape it needs a mommy and therefore must be hatched. She was doing her civil chicken duties.

Actually she gives (or used to give) me peach colored eggs~!
