My husband came into our bedroom with one of our Lavendar Orpingtons tucked under his arm, I was outstretched in bed recouperatimg fr a knee scoping.
We have 4 LO that have grown particularly attached to us. We also have 4 Boykin Spaniels.
Well when the four furry ones came bounding in from their morning run, the LO slid herself in between the group of dogs....,thrilled to have slipped into the house.
Hubby and I had a great laugh over this. It rinsed us if the scene from the I Love Lucy episode when she tried to slip across the border with a group of cyclists.
These birds are soooooo cute!

Sounds like you have some mighty good dogs and a special hen. Most dog + chickens encounters don't go well.
