When she was little I used to tell her how precious she was. Well I must have said it enough because after a while she would fly to me when I said Precious. I could not not name her that..lol

This hen looks like my Caramel! What breed is she? Caramel is (we think) a Gold Comet!

I got all of my girls as pullets from the feed store, already 8 weeks old. They are friendly enough, but unless I catch them while they are roosting, they don't let me pet them. However, when I turn my back they start to creep up on me. If I turn around they all slowly strut away like they know they got caught. They also like to peek in through the back door.

I hope so! They have been getting closer lately. I made the mistake of rewatching all the Jurassic Park movies, lately and they all kinda remind me of the velociraptors now. If they were any bigger, i'd be scared to turn my back!

OMG, you are hilarious!!! I know what you mean... Sometimes I think my rooster is stalking me! He comes up behind me and crows, and I never fail to jump a mile!!!

Lol! they are little monsters sometimes! when I feed them treats there is always that one that gets ahold of you flesh and tries to tear it off!!
