Until today I had only one hen laying. I had noticed it seemed like my buff orp rooster was crowing everytime she laid, but just thought it was a coincidence. This afternoon he started crowing again and I went back there and lo and behold another of the girls was walking away from the nest boxes and there lay another egg. He was looking right at her when he crowed too. He's announcing the eggs! Lol
