That's funny! Ours you have to really pull on the door to get it to latch all the way if we're inside, but the first time I did it I had one of those "Oh crap" moments. But I was able to get my hand through the fencing (2x4 welded wire) and open the latch. Good thing, because the top is covered and we can't climb out!
