Fur rash or disease?

And they will molt every year also so don’t be shocked when you see feathers laying all over the place they will grow them back but they have to molt out the old grow in the new to keep their feathers In Great shape.

The feed has been different from the first which they loved. I was shocked how quickly they went through the first bag! After forums I tried duck and chicken feed with water and vegetables, then a different kind of baby bird feed. Now today a 4th kind arrived. But the feed and eating don't seem to be a problem now--unless they are related to the fur which I am concerned about.
Most ducks love peas, エンドウ豆 (except mine) and they are very good for them. I got my Japanese daughter-in-law to translate what I mean in your language.

As far as outside, it has been quite cold. Even my balcony has had a cold wind. Today might have been better but I was out all day. But I agree getting them outside would be helpful. I'm trying to balance that with the need to keep them warm.
Yep the weather here is just now getting where I could take ducklings out for some fresh air and sunshine but not over night hopefully you begin to get warm enough temps that they can begin to have a little time outside. You have your priorities right.

I don't think it is related to feed, but if you are really worried, try switching back to the original feed. You might also consider cleaning their brooder several times a day as I believe excess poop could cause some feather loss.
I completely agree! I'm going to thoroughly clean everything tomorrow and start cleaning at least twice a day. I probably should have noted I introduced them to water two days in a row, but then when the lack of appetite and fur condition started, I stopped putting them in water.

Go ahead and let them have bath time nice warm water they will start preening and that helps to stimulate their oil gland. As long as you pat dry and put them right back under their heat source they should be fine. And it’s so enjoyable watching them in the water.

Thank you all! If you write I will respond with gratitude in the morning. It is nearly midnight here in Japan (Cayuga momma, I'm from upstate NY, Herkimer) and I'm at least a couple hours past my usual sleep time. Good night!
Haha, I guess I didn't need to get what kind of peas translated for you then! :lau

I think she/they just needed a good long warm bath. Looking much better. Thank you all!
