Hello everyone! So glad I found this forum:) We live in town, but are allowed to have up to 20 chickens with a permit (provided our coop/run is of appropriate sq footage). Our plan is to raise chickens both for eggs and meat. I'm a city girl, my hubby is a country boy. We have 2 boys as well that are very excited, ages 5 and almost 2. We are in the planning/research stage at the moment. We'll use the fall/winter to prepare their housing, and hopefully have some chicks to raise in the spring. Looking forward to learning from everyone over the next few months!
