My Dad and I are going to buy a duck from my Dad’s cousin. We are going to get it after it has hatched. It is in the incubator right now! I need cute duck names!! I was thinking Waddles, but I need more name suggestions!!

Thank you! I’ll be sure to get 2!!Please don't get just one duckling, they really really need a bud to grow up with. Unless you can give this duckling 24/7 time it's not fair to Waddles.
Here is some good info

Poor little Lucy!! I bet her friends miss her!! To be honest, I love the name FattyPatty!!Gibbles
Dabbles
Piggies (haha, sorry, they are)
I also think a thing that will help is once you have the duck, you can look at it’s personality and appearance and things will sortve pop into place.
The three I’ve had (I’m down to two which I’ll address in a second) all got their names based on appearance and personality.
Patty is actually FattyPatty (or little fat fat depending on my mood) because she was biggest of all three.
Little Lucy (little luce, little Lucy lookie-loo) was because she was the smallest/youngest and she was soooo stinking inquisitive. She’d always just be looking at you/situation with such different but intense looks.
Then there’s OG (originally pronounced very much just O G but now ‘abbreviated’ to “oohhhhhjjj”) because she was the original duck that lived here on the property when I bought it. I know gander is goose related but I didn’t have much else duck related to call her so it was really sortve of a play on “original gander”. Then it turned into “original griper” because she’d follow us at a distance as we walked around the pond and just quack and quack. And now it’s melded into Original Gangsta because she’s sortve like .50¢ where she’s had wounds and still lived to tell about it AND (recent revelation) she apparently likes hip hop. So... she’s gangsta.
Back to the having more than one duck thing. I absolutely must agree to have more than one. They’re a social bird and thrive with company. I found this out the hard way (I shall post the sad but funny/awkward story of this sometime). So I got two more by the grace of whatever deity you choose and she is so much more happy/duck living. In fact, I am actually scared that since I’m down to two, if one passes like poor Lucy did, the remaining duck will be alone. So I’m buying some ducklings in a week or so.
So please, take heed to getting two+
I can’t wait to see what the cute little one(s) look like!
ETA: the ducklings would have several weeks of growing in brooder environment before they could be introduced to grownups, so just keep that in mind if you get a baby and grownup situation. <3
Just a suggestion- ducks are very social animals and having only one duck will set it up to be very lonely. They say start with 3, in case one dies the other two will still have each other. Do a little research on their social nature. Only a suggestion. My Dad and I are going to buy a duck from my Dad’s cousin. We are going to get it after it has hatched.
