Hello from Milwaukee Wisconsin.

My wife is from Northern Cali, and grew up raising animals for 4H. We currently have no animals because of the requirements in MKE and our neighborhood, but we are hoping to move into a friendlier place in the future.

I've been HOOKED on homesteading, micro farming, family farming videos on youtube and I know that Chickens will be a large part of the future operation. I am absolutely amazed at the benefits from these birds!

Right now I'm just trying to do the most research possible to know all of the pros / cons, and advice on care before we begin.

1) I am new, Lisa had chickens 25 years ago.
2) 0
3) Unknown
4) Google search about where in Wisconsin we can raise chickens / farm
5) Lisa's hobbies is gardening, knitting, reading / My hobbies are fishing, hunting, animals, bushcraft.
6) Me, Lisa, 12 year old daughter. 8 year old german shepard rescue, 2 guinea pigs.
Lisa works in my daughter's school, and I work in IT with Data. I love kayak fishing and hunting to provide food. My dream is to get out of the office and be self sustaining on our home.
