Fuzzy Babies

I am new to both this forum and Chickens. As I build my coop and care for my new chicks this site has been invaluable.

Anyway, here are 3 of our fuzzies:

Another EE, this one we dubbed ChickZilla after a sleepless night with her unrelenting squeeking. She's been better since.

We have 10, are keeping 5 and are giving 5 to a couple of friends that are eagerly awaiting them. The pics are from day 2, they are actually a bit over a week old now and feathering out and doing well, enjoying daily treats of Miss Priss yogurt.

Thanks for the kind welcome.

Arlee: They were silly outside. We had to set them on the ground and click the camera quick, because they made an immediate dart for my son and climbed all over him. I'm sure they'll get used to the grass and run all over the place soon enough.

My babies didn't like the grass until they got tall enough to see over it. They'd run right back to me to "save" them.
