I have 2 new fuzzy butts in the bator with 3 more pipping! My DH made me a bator out of an old cooler--Bless him. I set 14 eggs with 3 tossed that were clear. I added more eggs--hate to see empty spots in the egg cartons. Well, last night I came home from work and 2 had pipped. Just after midnight my olive egg fuzzy butt rolled itself out of the shell. My BCM is working it's way now--chirping loudly. I have an ee in a blue egg pipped and another BCM pipped. I have been up and down watching the bator. My DH is upset that I didn't go to bed when he did. i had to remind him that he stayed up last night to watch Alabama win---so, I am watching grandchicks coming into the world. Silly man.
congrats on your new babies. My hubby built me a cooler bator, too and I am on day 4 of my first hatch. But yeah, I guess some people just don't get it, how exciting this is.
