Well... I was bored... Well not really, and I decided to take a gander at the rules... There is a no teasing rule... Yup. Basically, its no teasing that can be taken as malicious and hurtful towards the person being teased... I guess we aught to keep that in mind for future instances. In other words, we may know the person who is joking is joking, but other people may not...

Oh bummer... my kid woke up. Not fair. I wanted to shoot the breeze for a bit.

Anyway, Silver, when you get him, get up a better picture. I like the colors he's got.

ME, well, I am not a teenager. I am a female. AND I talk more on this than I do in person. Mostly because my actual physical friends have kids that are much older than mine, live in the city, don't get the chicken thing at all and I hardly ever leave home except to work, shop and on occassion run up to Fuzzy's place... Which by the way I hope to do again next week. I'll bring the whip cream for pie. HAHAHA.

AND check it out... I am still somehow top poster on most of the threads that I go on... I do not know how that happens though. There are are only a few that I am not. I don't think I will be rectifying that anytime soon though.

Now about the Jerk. I am seriously going to change Fritz's name to Jerk. the only one he does not go after if Rod Stewart. I let them out this morning and he immediately went after Mutt and Jeff. I had them in the 4x8 last night so he didn't get to terrorize them as soon as the crow goes. BUT that little jerk waited for me to open the summer coop door then stood just behind me as everyone came out and as soon as he saw them, he was on the like white on rice. A real hole that one is. AND THEN he goes after the Polish. I swear, this is the first chicken I do not like. All though it is kinda funny to watch him do the rooster dance at the big girls...

have you made apple butter yer? You can give that to family for presents this year............Or apple pie filling, or dehydrated apples (If you slice them and do it they will be ready for pie or hiking).............feed a bunch to chickens............give some to me...............lol

Mom, i wish i could get that hen tool :( I can't do anything more until i get working. The price hikes are threatening my chickens, so after the chicks hatch mon i am going in to a temp service.

Nova, i don't mind visitors. :)

The next 3 days i'm going to be glued to my bator. Well, off and on. I will have to see how the humidity thing goes, my metor outright stinks. Mon for sure, that's when they are due! I NEED to see who pops out of cocoas egg, if it hatches. The others i will sort for colors, and supposing all 8 of the others hatch i will only be keeping a few Unless i raise them to pullets for the spring . Easier for me to let go of babies though, and i am on a strict bird allowance due to space. I need to save room for the ones i need for breeding!

You can slice and freeze apples too, but don't bother making frozen pie filling because unless you add extra thickener it will defrost and be soupy :(
