Fuzzy's Farm

I'm doing great, been pondering what to wear to my orientation tomorrow. Said on the paper it was technically my first hired day, paid mileage. (In GR) Buuut it's all day watching safety videos and listening to whoever yap. So comfey is a must! Office casual/comfey. I threw away the black dress shoes i wore to my interview, boy those were toe killers! Pointy toe. (Goodwill shoes, $3.) I have pink ones, but too barbie??? I have white sandal-y ones i may go with, if i wear the rustling shirt. Running out of options! And i have to be introduced to the main building office peeps Wed, so i may work the outfit for that day as well. Then i get to go uniform! Whew.

No i didn't get the leak fixed. I went out there with the intentions of putting the big tarp over, but it was windy and warm, so i was ranging the chicks and everyone. About the time i went to do it that black storm rolled through! It smelled really bad in there yesterday too. :( So if i didn't have mold before, i do now :( Trying to decide on whether or not i am doing insulation in the re-walling. Seems to be a big moisture collector, but with the aluminum siding will it be too cold without it?

I think if nothing else i'm tearing out that section of interior roof and tacking up the new vinyl, there is enough of it that i can redo in the spring to make it pretty. Ditto on the wall under it. Gotta get the mold out!!! With it being this cool it's not drying quickly at all.

I always feel slightly bad that my girls are owned and not free, that's why i take so much care to make them as ridiculously happy as i can.
Oh heck no not my Blue's. I would never let them go. They are-were Royal Palms. Just the tom here now with my blue's.

gotta go, DH wants the computer.

Good luck on the hatching clucky, try not to pull all your hair out!

If you still hear peeping, that's good. If the peeping is getting quieter as the day goes on, some one may be stuck. If you have to open the bator, and that should be a last ditch effort, a squirt bottle with a fine mister , warm water in it should minimize shrink wrapping for the other eggs. Just a quick spritz and grab. Wish i had had one...... If you even think you are going to need to help, read these "sticky" threads. There is one that shows how, if you do it wrong it can kill them. :(

We don't need to dig up old dirt do we?
There is only one reason to dig up old dirt, getting worms! BUT, I was only joking when I asked if she wanted me to go and find it to refresh her memory. LOL, I don't have the energy to go and look back through the various tirades to find it. Besides, I think it lasted just way toooooooooooo many pages!
