I got some hatching pics, and i will get some more pics when they are fluffed and look a bit cuter

(Oh who am i kidding. "some" is an understatement, he he he)

sounds like serious dehydration. Were they pecking him away from it? Can he tilt right to get fluids in? Dark comb is dehydration or "blue comb" but in this case i am going with needing water. Try some fruit right away if you have any, perhaps between drinking and the fluids he gets when he digests the apple/ whatever will help him.....

He does drink water. I have seen him. I don't know how much he gets down...
I gave him a squirt of water tonight down his throat. He had spilled his bowl so I wanted to make sure he got at least a shot before I put him to bed. I have been careful to get it past the air hole.
He hates taking his vitamins... He is still eating and sitting up... I dunno what to do.
The SGs are usually seperated and can't get to him. It makes me so angry that they would go right after him.

ANd YAY congrats on the new chicks ladies !!! I am waiting on one more peking egg so I can drop 8 in the bator ... managed to get one egg from the ladies today ... THe one EE always lays later and I manage to get her egg .... havent seen any other still but not around past few days to catch them laying n snatch eggs ... got them some oyster and they are now getting fresh produce !!! lets hope that helps !!!
 
Oh my. This is why byc is bad for me. Here I am reading about all the new chicks and I feel the need to run outside and find a hen willing to sit on some eggs...

Congrats on the new chicks everyone. Fuzzy, I'm glad you were able to get the ones hatched that you wanted.
