I didn't want any... but I am thinking Hawk and Vonna need one. Hawk is molting and has become a favorite too. Vonna is bare backed, and molting. She gets pins, but she's not growing back feathers cuz Rod likes her to much...

Well, I'd say so... How many miles is it from Getty's to Lansing? If the weather is good when you come, it is not a Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday or Sunday, I have no problems driving to meet you where ever you come in to stay over night...

Silver, you also have to consider toll roads... its about 530 miles to Albion... If you are driving an Eco car at 30 miles per gallon... you should be able to make it nearly all the way on 20 gallons of gas. So, that's 80 bucks at $4 a gallon. Shoot for the high end of gas. So I think $200 round trip should do it. It is a 9-10 trip in good weather taking the toll road. Not sure what the costs will be at the tolls. The last time I went to NYC was about 10 years ago... We took the tolls part of the way... ANYWAY! Find a cheap hotel to stay over night, and I think you could do the trip in $300 if you pack food and water. Less if you have some one with to drive part of the way, and drive here and back in one day. I have done that by the way, an 18 hour trip. Was hell, but a necessity.

Im gonna be possibly driving our truck which gets about 25-30 mpg highway and try to avoid toll roads lol i know here it would be about 20 one way on tolls ... not sure about there ..

Yeah the fly or drive calculator with overnight stay at a 75.00 hotel and !00 in tolls estimated like 450 round trip ... if I drive about 1000 if i fly but that was round trip .. i cant go roundtrip flying bc of the animals ...
