The only problem is you can get blacks, whites, salmons and blue salmons here in the states. The others are still in Europe... Total bummer. They are also browns and buffs too, but not here.

It is so quiet! This time of morning, I normally hear big mouth Fibber crowing it up. Lol. I am tempted to get an alarm clock rooster. Lol. No, not really.

Rusty, how long is the space that we were talking about yesterday between the two buildings? And do either of the buildings slant? I was thinking maybe the heavier osb across the span, with a 2x6 attached to the top of one building, so the 6 inch side is is vertical, then secured, then the osb cut at 4x6 length, painted with barn paint, set across that space. With it being the heavier wood, and a support or two run to the ground, it should take a snow load, with out to much stress on the neighboring buildings. The slant would keep water from pooling on the osb. But snow wouldn't be shifted to the edges of the other building edges. Since you'd have a foot over lap on each side to protect the edges of each building... Just a thought. You could also brace the board with supports running to the ground along the building... I'll make a drawing later when I get home from work...

Nova - Fibber and Molly are doing great. Molly walks around like she owns the place LOL. And Mr. Feathers is great too. My Fav roo strutted up to him and pecked him a couple times and he turned and looked at him like who do you think you are, and walked away LOL.

I am having a lot of trouble with coyotes here. They think they want to eat my sheep and I'm telling them they are not !!!! We have 2 large packs around here. I got a text from my neighbor last night telling me there was a sh*t load of them out there and to get out there. So of course I went racing out there with gun in hand. Shot quite a few times. Sheep are ok this morning. This is going to be something to handle. They will be back I'm sure.

Robin I watched this thing about wolves and the cattle owners were having issues with the wolves killing the calves in the night. They tried everything and the only thing that worked was them playing wolf calls from another pack... maybe you could play some coyotes calls around the sheep from youtube or something...
Might be worth a try.

I'm looking for help, and I see by some of the names I find here, it could be forthcoming soon.

I have tried to become a Golden feather member a number of times, always to be foiled by some goof or another or another or another... and on.

How can I contact a higher up that can help us out here?

I say us cause I'm sure my donation will have some good for BYC in general.
