Tonight I made quinoa for dinner.. well as a side dish. My mom... She wasn't that enthusiastic about it. Something new... Aiden doens't like noodles or rice that much, so the quinoa was not a hit with him either. I thought it was quite good. I think though, that I will be the only one to eat it... And maybe the chickens too. They'll eat nearly anything.

It was day 2 of confinement for the birds... There has been a bit of fighting between Rod Stewart and Florus. Florus is hello bent on getting some of them girls won to his cause. He mates, then stands on them for a minute, then mates them again. Then stands next to them... Then IF they try and move, he tries to mate them again! So far no feathers have been lost in any of these exchanges, and no blood has been drawn on the hens. Now... the question I have, is this normal? I know Roger would do that on occassion, stand on the girl when he was done... Then stand next to her when he was finished, and when he walked away, then she'd get up and move... They usually ended up following him around like puppies after a few days of that... But I never saw him do like Florus is doing... Most of the other cockerels from before, I would have gotten ready for freezer camp as soon at they hit that age, and Roger, Mr. Fluffers had a devil of a time keeping them away from their girls, so they never had a chance to dominate... SO, is it normal?
Sure he goes for walks. He's not interested in hens, just food lol. That's what I was talking about the time he ran from me. One fat arse chasing another fat arse hahahaha. And he can run too !!!!
Well, the guy I bought my house from on L.C. came round today. He wants me to get a conventional loan on the house. I have a 5 year contract on it. My bank told me that at the end of my contract, with all payments on time, the payments go through them so they can see, they'd be willing to give me a conventional loan. Now he's wanting me to try and get a conventional loan now, 2 years early, cuz he's afraid he's going to die, and he wants the house settled before that happens, and he can then pay off his house so his boys, who are 40+ years old, two of them, have a house still when he's gone, since the bank for his new house he bought, woudn't give him the death insurance... Um... Ok... but, like, they are not my problem and the middle kid of his technically owns my house, not him, my contract is with his kid technically, not him... SO, maybe he aught to get one of them kids on his loan for the new house, so they can take over payments when he dies... OH... I forgot... that'd mean they'd have to get jobs... Well anyway... No. I have a 5 year contract. Legal and binding...

How has everyone been ? im bored cold and sometimes lonely but mainly COLD.... I ben offline more than I planned to be cause 1 - DD wants the pc quite often and half th time i let hr have it til bedtime cause i enjoy the quiet it creates and 2 - well i gt bored when no one is talking anywhere !!! lol Supplies the duck took a visit to DD school today to meet her class and a class of younger kids .. they loved it but i flt ridiculous walking around an elementary school carrying a noisy 6 week old duck lol
