I don't like hearing them at night because it means that stupid cat is the freakin' chicken coop again. I have hit it with a BB gun, what, three times now?! Will it ever learn?! Stupid cat! 

Hitting a cat with a bb gun doesn't teach the cat much.  If you can't fix the coop so the cat stays out then you aren't as smart as the cat.  Hurting an animal for something you haven't done right is just wrong any way you look at it.

Exactly. If the cat keeps coming back why not take it to a shelter or something? I only shoot coyotes that come in the daytime, since they will get my free rangers. Anything else I leave alone because my coop is secure enough, or else the dogs will get them......

I have warned the owners, I have tried to catch the kitty, but after the 8th dead chicken, with the cat being the culprit, I have NO patience with this thing!

This is the cat that bit me on the leg. To this day, that bite still hurts! It has screwed up my ability to run, to walk, and has costed us a lot of money in antibiotics, which the owners of the cat where not charged for because they threatened to sue and we didn't have the money for that! NO! I will not be kind with this stupid cat anymore! Hopefully, it will realize that breaking into the coop+killing a chicken=mega-pain!

I am going nice with this cat, too! ONE pump only! That is not going to harm it!

your family has let the cat kill eight chickens and still havent secured your coop? How do you know its the cat? If a cat can get in, so can a coon.
AND- whyd it bite you? And how can a cat owner sue YOU if you got bit? What were you doing to the cat?
