Everyone drive careful with the weather coming........

I don't think my little guy has survived the night. I told him good bye last night, we both knew he was dying. I searched all over the internet, couldn't find anything on his symptoms. With the deathly pale-ness, and weakness, whatever it is has severely affected his blood flow.

Even if he's alive, i don't think it's humane to keep him alive at this point; even medication isn't gonna help him with winter upon us if his heart has had a shock, cold or wet or whatever caused it

It snowed last night! . And we got some rain before. e. Now that the trees have stopped sucking up all the water our well has actually been filling up. .

I went to let the chickens out this morning and they ran out enthusiastically as ever, stopped about 6-8 feet out, turned around and went straight back to the coop. Silly birds.

Woo Hoo. After Christmas I get to pick up a breeding pair of those beautiful gray Silkies that was given to me. YAAA

Hey, everyone!

Boy, it's cold and windy out here in Owasso, Oklahoma. Dang! It's 37 degrees and soo windy! The wind blew down half the chicken pen, so all the chickens are out!

Oh well. Chickens will be chickens. I just wish they'd be chickens in their pen. Lol!

I wasn't even online yesterday. I was working all day, Christmas shopping, gift wrapping, and then using the lawnmower to move about, maybe, er, 10 loads of wood. I was glad to have the lawnmower because normally we have to load a wagon and pull it. Dad decided I was old enough to drive a lawnmower, so he taught me how and I learned really quickly. Now I can use it to haul wood to the house.

Well, I gotta go chase all the chickens back into their pen. That evil rooster keeps attacking me.

He cannot really help the fact that he's mean, he's just being a rooster. He just has too many hens to protect. I am gonna try to clip his spurs. Wish me luck!

Just a quick stop in and i will catch up later i am alive and ok ... dh came home early yesterday morning an it has been crazy around here ... will up=date everyone as soon as I can but I have missed ya'll too and glad someone worried about me .. i should be back later tonight to catch up here and with private messages !!!

Neat! Are they silvers, or blues?
