um, no. not me. The stars dont line up correctly above my incubator.

Im taking Chicken Little, AND the showgirl roo AND the silkie roo to Robin on Saturday because shes the bestestest friend ever.

THEN- I will have girls.

I didnt collect eggs for two days- because I am hoping the 'broodygenes" will kick in one of those darn hens. Imagine- serama/showgirl or serama/frizzle cochin mutts!!!
Ive only seen him doing his roosterly duty to my showgirl but that doesnt mean the others have been ignored...

Haha! I would totally take a showgirl rooster or a Serama rooster if I was closer.

*i think* henry is carrying green egg genes; princess is carrying blue; so either the babies will lay green eggs or very vivid blue! cookie is a big girl, and is laying a little larger than large green eggs. Where princess is shy, cookie has her momma's genes and any of her babies would be attention hounds Her babies are sure to lay green eggs.

but then again, Im not. I only hatch roosters. I told Robin I was DONE incubating. Im not- I have the itch really bad. BUT, I am done. really.

Hey ya'll...

SO, wanna hear something awesomely gross? Well, you will anyway, regardless of your wants.

My sump pump was getting clogged up. Kept giving minor floods int eh laundry room, but not to bad yet, but sure to get worse if I didn't rectify the situation. SO, I lay on an old bath rug, and I put my hand down in there and pull out.... A 1/2 skinned mouse! DISFUCINGUSTING! YEAH! It was all bloated and nasty and only the fur was left on the top part of the poor thing. I pulled that out with my bare hand! Grossest thing ever! And the smell! I knew that every time the water was disturbed it'd get this awful smell, I just figured stagnant water right. Um NOPE. SO, I got a pair of plastic gloves and a pair of bent prongs and dug the crap out that was blocking up the trap. A few more dead mice in there, a sock, a hunk of hair, like you pull out of a bath drain, and just all around gunk. Needless to say, the smell is pretty much gone now, and it drains all nice.

I will have night mares about that mouse...

Ewwwww. I think you have beat me on the "grossest task completed" now. I wonder why the heck the mice were going in there????

They could get in from the outside I guess... and I think they were going down the power cord, or down one of the hoses that goes into the hole to get water, and fell in, couldn't get back out. Poor things. Oh well.
