Morning all! I am so ready to see daffodil's and tulips. I am almost as scared as they are, to poke my head out after seeing the forecast for the next week!

Fuzzy, I know how you feel about the job...
My ex-boss let her FIL pretty much take over her grooming shop... This man knew nothing about grooming but enough to fool the customers into thinking that he did.
Anyway, one day he was quoting a woman a price that was $10 over what we would have charged, not even sure he knew what kind of dog she was talking about, and just plain doing it all wrong, so I stepped in.
After she left, he was pipping mad and took me out IN FRONT of the shop and told me that I should NEVER correct him and that I was annoying. My heart left the place and I never put in a minute longer than I had to there again... If I wasn't paid for it... I didn't do it.
It made me feel awful because I would have done anything for my boss before then... we are still good friends, but I would never work for her while he still has a foot in the door.

I'm with you on spring coming soon, Rusty. I do have daffodils and the little purple hyacinths (?) sending up green shoots. And it's been so warm that we are beginning to get buds on the trees. Probably after everything buds out we'll get a killer freeze...

One of the baby goats got her head stuck into a box. We noticed she wasn't out with the herd (they all usually hang together), so DH went out to check. A box that held the electric water warmer had been knocked off the shelf and she had gotten her head stuck in the flaps. He said she was going around baaaaing like she was dying and running into things because she couldn't see. Poor baby but I died laughing when he told me. Then later we didn't see her so again he went out and this time found her INSIDE the hay feeder and couldn't get out. How in the world she got in there is a mystery. I have a feeling this goatie is too curious for her own good - lol.

I GOT 3 EGGS TODAY!!!!

All of my girls are laying fertile eggs!!!!

My poor BR laid another bloody egg... it is only her second, but I hope she doesn't continue to hurt herself laying
I have 3 eggs waiting to be set in my makeshift incubator... I think I have been saying brooder... I meant incubator

This could be awesome!!!!

I need to decide if I want to set just these 3 or set them tomorrow with one or two more eggs...

Yes, this is me (gigiintheforest). For some reason I couldn't log in tonight. The password I used would not work so I opened a new account - geeesh. If I ever find the right password I'll be back to my old self - lol.

I forgot my password the first day I joined, have no idea how to reset it, and, unfortunately, have never been able to log off, which is why I'm always "online".
