As it turns out I was cooking eggs for a week... Ewwww...

Kim can I borrow your incubator? I wanna make some super uggos!!! NN sizzles!!!!

I get 2 eggs everyday now... sometimes 3!!! I don't need more eggs than that but I would like to sell to the neighbors!

I found out my chickies love oranges! I also gave them some cooked rice, corn, celery, and orange pepper MMmmmmm!

DS turned 4 this past week!!! 4!!! I am getting old! LOL

RaZ offered me some golden sebrights in exchange for some dog grooming... I think he was serious...

Made chocolate chip walnut cookies... followed the directions EXACTLY... When I cooked them they stayed little tiny balls... Mmm cookie bites! When the directions say "drop on pan in tsp balls" they really mean... "Make balls as big as you want then smoosh them flat!"
My son decided to try to lick the plate of cookies and I scared the jeepers out of him when I yelled... he ate half a cookie and was too upset to eat another

Bad mom moment. I know I overreacted and told him I love him and he could have a cookie... just not lick the whole plate of everyones cookies... Sigh.
I have had little to no patients lately... for like the past month... I don't know what is wrong with me...
Normal things I would let run off my shoulder have been pushing my buttons.

Just groom the dog, forget the sebright. Not worth the flighty hassle, imho. And don't feel too bad at the lack of patience. I think the patience fairy is on vacation because I lost mine a good week ago. I'm thinking winter has gone on long enough and we are just itching for more to do than stay cooped up indoors all the time.

Um, will someone please pm me what was said and by who- before I decide that my tattooed self and my daughters (one with a tattoo- that I allowed at age 16) and my other daughter with her pink and purple hair are not welcome at Chickenstock?

I tried to read backwards- but so many posts have been removed by the people writing them that I cant tell who had what opinion. If I dont feel welcome somewhere I sure as heck am not driving two hours to go there.
I truly LOVE ChickenStock- and I love hanging out with the people that I have met and made friends with- but if I feel like people have strong opinions against how I look or worse, how I let my kids look- its best if I do not go.

I aggree with tee. Blame lack off patience on SPRING FEVER. I too snapped at my DD for a simple thing that I usually just let roll. Yay supposed to be warm hope snow goes away fast but can do with out the rain.
BYFM look up member Sally Sunshine. She has a link for a thread she started on how to make an incubator out of an old cooler. (lots of pics) it was pretty cool. The I saw some where in the incubating and hatching forum where some young gal made a simple incubator out of a cardboard box.

YAAAAA I think I will just dye my hair blue or something just for that occasion. Nobody will keep me away from there.

Hello, everyone.

I popped out of bed this morning at an AMAZING 8:00 AM, stumbled into the kitchen aaaaaannnd... my mom was making homemade biscuits, sausage, and the eggs gathered straight from the barn that very morning. We had tea to drink, and jelly on the biscuits, and I was amazed at how perfectly mom had prepared the food. It looked AWESOME! Bottom line is, I'm stuffed.

BackYardFarmMom- I don't know... I am not gonna argue with my mom, even though I would like to get some: she doesn't agree with magical things... even those as cute as baby fairies...

Well Kim, I must say, if no one has told you, and you didn't read it, I am not going to say. Needless to say, it was quite offensives and I wouldn't have expected the starter to have said such things. I am not tattooed, but I am thinking a big ole fake one covering my whole arm may be in order... Hehehe. Maybe a bunch of glue on piercings too.

Do ya'll have a printer? I was thinking that since no one wants to make that yes do it leap, We could each buy some iron on transfer paper, A t-shirt in our prefered size, and take Ashli's Chicken Stock design and make our own to wear... I will suggest it on the other thread as well.

I wonder how my hair would look with blue in it.....
