Fuzzy's Farm

My weekend is all wonky. I keep thinking today is Saturday.

Anyway, I have discovered that my silkie hens are freaking afraid of me. Seriously. Took a treat out when I got home from work to try to coax the 'what the heck is that white stuff' chickens out of the coop which succeeded to the point of about four feet. So I'm walking among them and I swear when I stepped about 5 feet from one of the silkies it started clucking wildly and flailing its wings around like I was going to grab it and make some dinner. Totally freaked out, goofy bird.

Hey all- I have a question. I found tracks in my yard.

I was going to post this on the general Michigan thread- however Snowflake has just posted of the loss of her daughter- not appropriate for me to throw this question there now. Those who post there, Please take a moment to express your condolences.
As for my question:
Here is the picture:

These go across my yard. What do you think made them?

Nova, I hope you are feeling better this morning. Lovely picture to draw from. I want that in my front yard - lol.

Total, that's a really good painting.

Chickfan, I love the eggs, so pretty.

Hi Savannah, Hi Tee, Rusty!

Whooopeee, we got the first 10 of our baby chicks, 2 Welsummers, 3 Jersey black Giants, 3 EE's, and 2 Astralorps. I've got them upstairs in their brooder and they made it through the night just fine. I'd forgotten how messy they are - LOL. But so cute. So now it's working on handling them all until they aren't thinking that I'm about to make dinner out of them - ha

We found the prettiest front door at Habitat yesterday. It's wood edges but then all small panes of glass. $50 for something that would probably cost 500 in the store. I'm putting it on today. Yipppeee.

I would say big dog. Lab, shepherd or even a pit bull as they have big feet. Dogs nails don't retract but a cat's claws are retracted when they walk. This one you can see the claw/toenail marks. We've had a mountain lion around here as well as the neighbors big dog so I'm pretty familiar with their tracks.

wayyy too small to be my lab or my pitbulls tracks- their tracks are almost four inches across. This is inside my fenced in back yard and then further fenced in with decorative fencing- about three feet high. I really do not believe a domestic dog because they would have had to come in to the yard with my dogs- and that never ends well.

I am worse for wear this morning. But no fever, just a seriously stuffed head and cough. Although the cough is a pain, mucus is expelling easy. Thank God.

Poor Snowflake. I haven't been to the MI. Thread yet. I can't imagine...

Sorry Rusty, I was on and off so quick, but Morning...

Mom, are you sure there are no hidden holes? I am seconding small canine.

Um, do you have racoons or such there? That's what they remind me of.

Nova, Tuesday is the big day. I probably won't be on for a bit after Monday. Not sure if I'll be able to sit at the computer. Keep going on the painting. I find it such a stress reliever. I get lost when I paint.
