I think I'd just really like to know their origin... Aztec, Olmec, Mayan, etc... and what the pictures mean, and their value. Then I can decide if I want to sell them, keep them, or loan them to a museum ya know..

HI MOM!! Guess what, Vanilla laid her first egg today... She hasn't laid in 4 months! Yeah...

Did you go to the doc?

I have two little frizzle/serama cockerels. Six weeks old. SUPER TINY and super cute...betcha they would love to be part of your brood...

yeah yeah went to the doctor wasted alot of time *and money*.
My doctor is in Hawaii. I didnt go to the neurologist. I should have, with my stroke history. But, I was trying to save a buck. So, the doc I saw yesterday told me he doesnt have a crystal ball OR a magic wand. Said I have a sinus infection- probably why I get headaches. UM, no. Ive had sinus infection headaches- this is more like an ax to the top of the head, and being stabbed in the jugular vein simutaneously.
Rib pain? He said, "well you know you have scoliosis...yeah, since I was a kid. Is it getting worse? No, not worse- but may be why you ache." Uh, no this is NEW pain affecting my daily life. He said, "well, you have terrible posture. Thats probably the reason."

So, I said to him..."How old are you? 27? Wait until you are in your forties, then we will talk about posture. I stand ALL day at work. I bend, I stretch, I lift, I chase MY patients." I have to compensate for my neck and shoulder- gotta guard those- that makes you hold your frame a certain way. Im sitting now in a chair- with pain in my ribs and back. THAT makes you sit a certain way. Sit up straight? Nah. It hurts."
He got a little mad at me and said, "SO then- what are you going to do?"

They took a bunch of xrays, told me it takes a couple weeks to get a radiology report back. Recept told me that the doctor wanted to see me back in a couple weeks to which I replied, "Nah..."

There was a beautiful border collie in our front yard this morning. He ran off when our dogs went crazy. I had to sit on my hands going "no more dogs", "no more dogs". And our dogs would have a fit if we brought in someone new. I'm hoping he belongs to the new neighbors to the south of us. It's so sad to see dogs loose...

Mom, sometimes doctors are just plain stupid. Especially when they are young and don't thing YOU know anything about what's wrong with you. I'd still go back to your neurologist - the longer you wait if it is something that needs taken care of the more expensive and painful it can be in the long run, I think.

We have family movie night tonight. We are going to see wreck it ralph... I am bringing a big exercise foam mat... LOL, that's what we'll sit on. Won't have too sore bums then. LOL

The brooding duo in the garage have 2 out. one is almost out and they are still sharing. It is still really cute. Will get pics tomorrow of them. The second chick out is pure faverolles. Big white beard on it. YEAH!

Sheh-Sheh had a completely successful hatch. When I checked on her, she was in the process of showing the chicks where the food was. It was super fun to see. AH moment. 3 black and yellow and one yellow munk.

Criptoes chicks should be hatching in the next 2-3 days. I can hear them scratching in their shells, but no pips yet. She'll have 10 days on them by the time they hatch, hope that's enough time for her to NOT freak out over them hatching so early. LOL

Gotta go. Have a good night. May get back on later. May not. We'll see how it goes.

Nova those are neat ... the seals and the new babies !!!!
So how is everyone doing.. I am trying to get mom's house packed up still so I can head home and get a real vacation .. and can be on here to keep up with everything and everyone !!!
Mom has accepted she will be staying put and is much better now instead of being men and cranky to me and no one else...
All week I have dealt with various emergencies in my brothers life that have taken me away from getting this house packed so I can go home !!!
And today my baby brother got divorced and remarried lol more power to him ... hope all is well .. see ya'll laters !!!!

Hi Silver! What a tough time you've had. I'm glad your mom is a bit better. It's a difficult situation to say the least.

We got the 2nd half of the chicks we ordered. Three speckled Sussex, another EE (just because I couldn't resist her) and two rhode island reds. The last two was DH's pick - I don't know much about the breed. We got them home and put them in the brooder with our first 10. Oh my, what a size difference. The chicks we picked up a week ago were double the size of the new babies. I couldn't believe they grew that much in one week. Anyway, so far everyone is settling in fine but I'm going to put together a larger brooder in the morning. I definitely got carried away with chicken math this year. What am I going to do with all the eggs we're going to have in six months????

ummm .. mail them to me and feed my hatching addition once i get settled in in the new place ...
it has definitely bee na rough trip to ga with all the emergencies and everyone .. will be glad to be home and bored again !!!

also went to the auction, was a bust. Didn't get any phone numbers, saw Randy though and said Hi. ALMOST got a silkie, turned out to be a boy so passed. If hope stays small she's not much bigger under her fluff. This guy was a brown-beige, very pretty. I still need a companion for my girl, i am thinking, and wish that i could hatch a few babies (can't keep, but easy to re-home EE babies) I was wishful about finding out what my mutts would make, anyway! The last bunch was cute.

I am gonna go fabric hunting for the saddles today. I have some, but want to see if i can get some better.
