Fuzzy's Farm

Geesh, all I can say, Ash, is that my brain is on cold drugs. I know Mom2 is Kim but I couldn't even remember my password tonight - just want to crawl in the coop and sit with the girls and share the misery - ha. DH is sick also so we are a lovely pair right now.
LOL
Feel better! I hate when BF and I are both sick...
Good Morning all-
Mom is still in the nursing home, but no longer dying. Still cant walk. They get her one more week, then I am bringing her home.
Kayla still seizure-free...yay, seems we have a handle on it.
Tiff has a new boyfriend. And I really like him. Darn it. Hate getting attached when kids are young, cuz you end up with a broken heart.
UM- no money for Christmas, but its gonna be the best one ever because I have my mom, and my mom-in-law, and my brother is coming from Colorado.
Robin is a fabulous friend- she swooped in like a superhero and beat off a jerk on facebook.

Glad everything is running a little smoother
Sorry Silver...
2 of the roos were the SGs that I was going to give you.
Do you want me to mail you the fairies when you have the money?

WOW! What a dead thread today! LOL.

I know I took advantage of the warm weather today and burned the crap out of the garbage. I forgot to pay the darn bill so they didn't pick up on friday. Well... Burn barrel, here I come. So... LOL. Stinky.

Today I went into that hated store Wally World and spent 92 bucks on kids clothes. When will they stop growing! I did get lucky and find some wranglers for Jace that are actually a low enough rise in the waist that they'll fit after taking up the legs. Odd shaped kid. Aiden on the other hand... he's got the reverse problem... To skinny for 3ts, but to tall for 2 ts... I need to just invest in a serious sewing machine.

Anyway! I have a monster head ache today. I am dealing with it, and I am chalking it up to this totally ephed up weather. I think I'd be good with a big cuppa joe, a generic excedrin, and a cake... but.. the last I will have to pass. I have no cake.

Ok, days most over. Where are you guys???

I moved to phase II of the teenage baby integration. I free ranged the big birds, and let the babies have the run to themselves for a bit, then put the others back in. Slowly but surely they are standing closer and closer to the big birds. :) I didn't see anything stressful going on.

So after the bigguns were roosted, and i deemed that the little ones couldn't see more than shadows in there i put them on the "big bird's side" on the lower roost. So far the birds have worked out that the one corner is "the chick's" and the rest is theirs................. I want the babies roosting near the others, to try to have a solid group..........I'm very grateful for the warm spell to help me with getting them used to not having the brooder light! :)

I'm not sure about the black and white baby though, Nova. No comb development, don't act roo-ish, don't spar with the others......... but a few of the tail feathers look a tad pointy........ Hmmmm. A little early for that, rooster tails in EE's don't happen until quite late??? Confused!

Hey fuzzy... Ya know what... I had a bird that I would have sworn was going to be a pullet... turned out to not be... SO, it's a just wait and see.

Today was a nice one for sure. Even though it was a bit misty... All day... LOL. I think given a bit of time, they will soon start to roost together. My polish... I mean Robins polish have moved out of the coop they were in and moved into the big coop. Only Mr. Feathers, Florus, and Blackie the serema hen are left in the grow out coop. They like it there I guess.. LOL. Florus and Blackie Serema... Gracious she needs a new name... will be moving soon though to the big coop... Maybe.
