Fuzzy's Farm

I wanna shoot something... It has two legs... Feathers... Beak... Eats chickens... Or tries.... Illegal to kill...

LOL!  Gotta remember the hawk's just doing what hawks do.  Not that that helps much - ha ha.

I've shot them with a Super Soaker before........Keeps 'em away for a little while........

Lol... I know! But there are 5 other farms to choose from! Go to them instead!
Hee hee. That's what I think about all the coyotes around here. Only they circle the lake and only come to our farm about once a month. DH and I lock everyone up so don't have to worry about it but I am a bit worried about the new goat babies and the immature eagle that visited awhile ago. Thankfully, one of the older goats as "adopted' them and I think he would make quite a ruckus if the eagle attacked. Plus, we keep a close eye on them and probably will until they get up to about 15 pounds.

I saw your pics of your chickens (and your house?).  They are so pretty.  Are you in town?

the white house is my neighbors, Carl. We are in a township, my side of the street is agriculture... Across the street there are apts, very dog friendly and quiet. They even have a section of their property sectioned off so residents there can plant 8x8 plots of veggies. They're zoned residential... The only residential spot, surrounded by A1 properties. Lol.

That sounds very nice. It looked quite pretty - I loved the gray sky although you are probably sick of rain/snow.

THat's a good idea.  I should try it on the eagle (oh, I'm being a bit optimistic here...).

LOL, I've never really had a problem with the Bald Eagles that hang out around here. It's the Red Tails and Cooper's hawks mostly. Golden Eagles, now those scare me. One of our friends (who is a very experienced hunter/outdooorsman) saw one from about 200 yards away and thought it was a coyote because it was so massive. Then he looked through his binoculars and realized what it was........
