Everyone here in Mi. watch the sore throats. My grandson started with a sore throat and fever. Got sent home from school Wednesday P.M.
Says doc was called and he said no need to come in lots of stuff going around. Friday A.m. went to doc ....................
Full blown Scarlet Fever
fever, strep throat, cough, snot, and measles like rash with swelling in the fingers and toes. And all he wanted to do was sleep. No appetite either.Get out the Clorox spay, hand sanitizer and please remember to wash hands if out using public places.

I don't think it is a Russian Doll egg, but it would be great if it was! It was laid by Rita, our New Hampshire Red hen. She's a big hen and often lays double yolker/triple yolker eggs. She's the only hen we own that doesn't seem to mind pooping on us when we hold her.

Too bad, we're gonna hold her anyway, she's so sweet! Lol!

Holy Chit On A Broom Stick! I didn't even know scarlet fever was still something to worry about.. You don't hear of people having it often. My dad's best friend, his son had that when he was a baby... Dang! Prayers for the little guy.

Hey Fan... I can't believe the size of that egg! Holy cow can that hen lay an egg. You only need one of her's for breakfast!

Got a... bowl?? Containment?.... I don't know, but I made a box... something... in the garage so I could put leaves in it for the garage chickens. Get them off the cement. They don't roost, none of them... Its a 6 inch high boarder attached to the brooder... THAT"S THE WORD! LOL. Anyway, I put some of the bagged leaves in it, and then sprinkled in corn and 45% protein cat food. I got the this cat food from FFH and has a mountain lion on the front. Anyway, its 45%, and the main ingredients are meats. Anyway... How's that for a protien snack huh? Yup.

Anyway... I gotta go play cars. Was just checking in to say HI.

Haha! Yeah, she lays big eggs pretty regularly.

CFL My Grandaughteer is about the same age as you (I thinK), she has RIR (25) . She came over looked at you egg, and with mouth hanging 1/2 way to her knees she let out a 'holy cow, dang that's one hue egg ! We don't get eggs that big from our chickens'.
