Fuzzy's Farm

Oh, and i also broke down and bought one of those stock tank de-icers, i got the smaller cast iron loop that you drop into the water. I thought in the event that i figured out how to do a winter nipple system, that it would be more useful :) ran around $30, uses 250 watts. There were others but they ran more like 1000 watts! It's supposed to be ok with plastic, too. Crossing fingers on the rubber bucket..............

I wanted to use a heated base, but with the way these babies splash water about i wasn't sure about safety.

I'm a starter? What s the best breed for me? P.S.- If I get In trouble for posting this, I'm really sorry, i really want a chick. :(

No trouble, go to the library, borrow books You could know from the answers you got that you have to know some stuff before you know what questions to ask. Gail Damerow has several good books. Some complex but good. Browse the BYC threads. Very good. Have fun.!!!

Not a lady, Bob.

No I'm not ?

How are you doing? All well in your corner of the world?

We're doing ok. Spent the day with family at my brother's. Nieces, nephews, daughter, son, in laws. ( Kids table) had a 50 year minimum age. One nephew had some slides of years gone by. Several of his mom brought tears to my eyes, unless it was the wind. fifteen years gone, bad colon cancer. All siblings at her bedside. Thank God for morphine.

Robin,
Hope you are feeling better soon.

Take a look at the new pictures on my profile. Know what that roo is ?

I'm tired. TaTa.

I'm Still behind... No NOVA, not admitting to being A behind .... just behind , can't resist.

What am I ? Chopped liver ?
Hehe... I happen to like liver very much.
I think it was supposed to be yuck... but my touch pad has a mind of its own.

I am still sticking with my shop clamp lights with 75-100 watt bulbs. The only waterer that had any ice what so ever today was the one that had no light over it. The other two, one is a three gallon, no ice anywhere. I did however find a deep cookie tin at Micheals. May go and get it two tomorrow and cut the holes and try do with the 25 watt bulb and see what happens.

Robin, hope you are feeling better.

Nova, if you'd just have waited a few hours I would've been here, too. Got up at 5a so I could put a pumpkin pie in the oven before I rush off to work. After that, I'm meeting up with everyone at the in-laws for the family party. Just hope DH doesn't destroy the pie when he takes it over.

As for the rest of the night, wrap-wrap-wrapping.....
Have a good day all. Happy Christmas Eve.
