WTH? I was hoping she was all better by now because we hadn't heard anything in a while.
yeah but she doesnt have a wheelchair ramp- so unless I come and thump her down, she is stuck in the house. :(
I have a ramp... $100 come take it down... It is yours!

Please ignore my junk everywhere!

BYFM!!!

I have to rally the troops= figure out how we would/could get it to Moms, how we could dig post holes in the frozen ground...um, how we would get it OUT of your yard....

but hold that thought..

Im working on it.

I am making ribs right now!

When my ex SIL broke both her hips in a car accident, my ex FIL found an old ramp from off of an old u-haul.. Worked like a dream to get her up and down the stairs, but she had some one helping to do that. Also my other SIL used it when she was having knee replacements... SO, there might be an option?

You wouldn't have to dig post holes yet either. Just make sure it is flat cut on the bottoms of the posts and stable for the part you need to use. Get a big post driver, a few of those heavy duty green fence posts, pound them in, screw/bolt the ramp at the ramp posts to it to keep it secure in position. You can get the posts out after you don't need them then afterwards...

  1. my mom is a stubborn woman
  2. she doesnt realize that things are possible
  3. my stepfather has an appointment at the VA to tell them he can no longer use the steps and needs a wheelchair ramp so he can get in and out of the house. He is going to exaggerate his need to help Moms need.
  4. Mom said lets wait and see what the VA says on Friday
  5. *sigh*

Okay... I guess just let me know.
We have a piano that needs to be moved into the house using the ramp... not sure how that is going to happen
