I don't think the govt is accepting until the end of the month anyway; i know; i'm getting antsy too. Won't get much, but wanna get a deposit saved, an emergency fund, and trying to decide how much i dare to send to an old credit card debt; my refund won't even touch all that but it would make a small dent at least! I found old reciepts on the credit card debt, and to my surprise the original debt was only $800!!!! After 3 years it is now up to $1900!!! Ya. Not happy; they will "settle" for $1500 i think was the last quote, total BS if you ask me. I am wondering if i could get a written statement to settle for $1000? Seems more reasonable.
As to the hands, forget trying to re-hydrate at that point; Go to sally beauty supply and look for a pink bottle of "sloughing lotion" from the feet care section. Runs around $6. This stuff soaks into your skin, and then you will literally be able to rub the dead stuff off, like when you were a kid and played with glue? Gross but cool. Anyway, that will help tremendously, do that and rinse good, then your hands will feel brand new when you put lotion on! Great for feet too, i would never have believed it's miracle-ness had not my sister made me try it.
It has even worked for my feet when they got so dry on the heels that they were cracking! Hurt like hades; that one took a few times in a week but still a miracle in my book
