I will have eggs/ or my trio eventually, when i have to cough them up. Don't wanna, the little guy is soooo sweet and lovey! And my original project called for breeding him with my basketball hen's daughters, so i could have sweet round smallish porcelain (mixed with another color) EE hens So holding out as long as possible.

Well, Maggie aka Queen goat, finally came home from the vet's late yesterday. Four days at the vet's, DH didn't tell me how much it cost but I'm just happy she's back. Evidently a low grade uterine infection so we are having to give her antibiotic injections for the next week. If it happens again then it's a hysterectomy for Maggie. I've had to be at school the last three nights so I missed the homecoming but evidently the herd was very very happy to see her and all ran around smelling and baaaaing so guess all is well.

Pimento I'm so glad you are back.

I have to drive to Alva to see my dad this weekend. I absolutely hate the drive (4 hours) but love seeing my dad. Only this time he wants me to bring compost to him so I'll be filling a couple of barrels with compost and dragging it along. Yuck - LOl!

Ooops, everyone just got up so gotta run. See you guys later.

I do know that he is a good boy! He can't get up into the coop by himself but he does stick right by them at all times.
