I will have eggs/ or my trio eventually, when i have to cough them up. Don't wanna, the little guy is soooo sweet and lovey! And my original project called for breeding him with my basketball hen's daughters, so i could have sweet round smallish porcelain (mixed with another color) EE hens :D So holding out as long as possible.

What porcelain chicks SHOULD look like (the one in the front)

Thanks TC- thats what a blue-tongue SHOULD look like. THe one I am trying to rehab is soo far from that goal. One day, maybe.

AND am I the only one that is not so convinced that the CL picture is of silkies? They dont really look like silkies.

Cute- but still....

Fuzzy- amen to that!!!! I will never ever again purchase anything. Cant tolerate that kind of cruelty. Cant promote it either, by making purchases.

TEE-
was going to say something to you, forgot. Cant remember. So,

My new set of twins. Just a little over an hour old. Still wet. Momma won't own them so they will be bottle babies. I hate bottle feeding lol.
Ah, the babies are so cute. How are they doing Robin?

A certain sheep farmer emailed me today and reminded me that it had been a while and I was being rude so...

Rusty, I saw a Robin -- No, not RBahmer. This one was of the fowl variety, not the foul variety

-- in the front yard this morning and almost leapt for joy. The smell of a skunk, while unpleasant would be getting the same reaction, I imagine. SPRING!

Kim, you so naughty!!!

Nova, hola! Good to see you're still a crazy chicken woman.

I am so ready for spring. We've had skunk(s) all winter so I don't think that's a spring sign for us - lol! I am waiting for the robins to come down. Hurry, hurry, hurry...

So pretty, Fuzzy. I can hardly wait till our babies arrive.

Well, Maggie aka Queen goat, finally came home from the vet's late yesterday. Four days at the vet's, DH didn't tell me how much it cost but I'm just happy she's back. Evidently a low grade uterine infection so we are having to give her antibiotic injections for the next week. If it happens again then it's a hysterectomy for Maggie. I've had to be at school the last three nights so I missed the homecoming but evidently the herd was very very happy to see her and all ran around smelling and baaaaing so guess all is well.

Pimento I'm so glad you are back.

I have to drive to Alva to see my dad this weekend. I absolutely hate the drive (4 hours) but love seeing my dad. Only this time he wants me to bring compost to him so I'll be filling a couple of barrels with compost and dragging it along. Yuck - LOl!

Ooops, everyone just got up so gotta run. See you guys later.

BYFM, your too slow! Robin should be at work so I am already on my way to her house. With a bunch of treats to keep the dogs busy and I can stash one under each arm. Dang though Robin knows where I live!.
Oh no you are not!!!!!
BYFM - If you lived closer I would not have a problem letting you bottle them
Awww! I wish I was!

Define "too much".
When you have to pick yourself up off the floor... twice...
Id like to take this moment to say, Happy VD to you all.
LOL!!! VD... I don't care if it is happy or not... I do not want VD
I rescued a skink.
Awww poor thing!!!!
Aww, that's the mark of a good boy. He will probably stand guard when the girls lay eggs, mine did both :)
I do know that he is a good boy! He can't get up into the coop by himself but he does stick right by them at all times.

That will be gross!!! Maybe some tubs with lids could help...
Have a good time!

Skatter and the babies!

Also... a few drawings that i am tentively considering transfering to water paper for painting...

Aiden wants the second drawing... That's why it's signed to him. As you can tell, its a fall pic...
NICE!!!
I wonder if there is an online program to turn photos into paint by number....
