Idk, not doing anything specific YET; we are calling #'s and trying to set up appointments though. We WANTED another one in nunica, but Oy, the deposit! Would have been almost 2 grand to get started! Had a pole barn though.

I talked to my kids teacher today about the eggs. The other teacher decided to order them so they could hatch ducks too, but never told her. She was so upset and I swear she was going to cry. I told her it was ok, I think it'd be fun for the kids to see ducks hatch too. That wasn't the point though. She was upset because she had talked to the other teacher to begin with. That teacher knew the eggs would be free and the chicks would also be free. I just wanted a few back. That teacher said that'd be great. Didn't tell my kids teacher she changed her mind. Which was rude. I am not upset. Heck, I plan to be over run with chicks soon anyway, so I do not mind. So, that made her feel better.

I showed my birds to the gal i work with who is starting in chickens. She loved my colorful rooster! She definitely liked my birds, and will take them if needed. I have to keep my options open, sigh. I will go check out her setup soon too, to make sure. Was definitely happy to find someone who wanted a rooster, just in case!

I gave her a bunch of eggs to try to hatch, told her i wanted to see what the babies looked like if they do hatch! She was flabbergasted that my family won't eat the colored eggs. When i get a place i surely will, but for now they are just getting tossed at trees, LOL
