Must be the weather... In the winter, we were chatty Kathy's... Now we are all busy doing workhorse spring chores...

Yes, it's hard to be chatty when there's so much to do. Worked all day, got home for a few minutes before DDs track meet and then did the dinner thing and had to go catch 3 chickens who just did not want to go in for the night. Anyway, with the exception of tomorrow (unless I get called in), my week is packed with work, appointments, jury selection and drama awards. Yes, they actually do awards for the theatre kids. Oldest DDs up for 2 in stage managing.

Anywho, how is your Dot doing? Did she pull through?
 
I went out to check on the chickens this morning and found that the nesting box that Shawarma is hatchin her babies in was knocked over... probably while Noodle was trying to lay her egg in the box. Not sure if the others are going to hatch. Shawarma tried to gather all of them up under her and her one chick, but as I put them all back in the box some of them felt cold :( I will give them a few more days AND I have locked Noodle out of the coop. (in the enclosed run with Pate)
Poor baby Omlette might be the only hatch out of that batch... but more should be on the way next week!!!!
Not even sure if Noodles eggs are developing. Pattie's eggs have lil babies swimming around like crazy in them

My boy got to be a BOY today! LOL Some of the neighborhood kids his age were running through a mud puddle... DS looked up at me and said "Mom?"... I just told him to go be a boy! He was soaked from head to toe. After he got a shower he was soooo ready for bed!

dont give up hope on them yet .. over in another thread i am on someone found two eggs all but frozen .. she had to o assisted hatches but they made it !!!!!!

aww bet he had a nice time !!!
 
I got my replacement shipped eggs today and all were safe and snuggled except one this time !!!! yay yay yay... last hatch for me for awhile !! hows it going over there nova ?

hows the trailer thing going fuzzy ?

and how is every one doing besides busy ? lol
 
Well, I think this may be Dots last day... I may just end it for her. She's not better, she's not really moving. I can pick her up and carry her all over. Not very normal behaviour for GLW's. I just got home from work, and she is woozy headed, but her head is up. But she's closing her eyes a lot. I moved her back next to the water and food and onto shavings, but...

About my eggs... 5 more days! Lock down friday morning. YAY! I am so excited. I need to requisit the brooder from the garage chickens...
