Fuzzy's Farm

I have to do that to the chickens when I am trying to get them to still and look at me.

cf4l, she's a very pretty dog. Glad she fits right with you.

Nova, no, I didn't have to work today, but yes, I felt the humidity. In between taking my son to the dentist and my daughter to the physical therapist, we stopped to get a drink and I remarked on it. News said it was supposed to rain around midnight, but here it is 1:30am and not a drop.

Tomorrow is one of my 5 down days of the month. No appointments, work, errands or anything. Even my daughter was like 'thank you' when she looked at the activity board and saw it empty since a lot of the daily activities and appointments are for her and she just wants to sleep in for once this week and sit home in her pj's all day.

Thanks for all your thoughts. Although we have lots of friends and family, none of them are inclined to be minifarmers -- or would even know what to do with animals. I've got to do a lot of research on this. DH has hepatitis which may or may not be getting into his liver. We are keeping our fingers crossed and praying that the biopsy is okay. I feel like I have this fist clinching m heart.

I hope he is okay! Chin up!

Robin... I love my silkies!!!! Can't remember if I told you... I named them Garlic and Herb

Hope everyone is well!!

I'm doing better, i sucked it up and got some exedrin migrain. This week is coopersville's annual town wide yard sale, so i am hoping it keeps it at bay.

DH's stepsister that had those chickens of his uncle's running about loose, well there's only 3 of the seven. :( She still thinks i'm stealing her birds because i locked the remaining 3 up last night so DH could set the bear trap. (I think it's pretty close in size, very deadly jaw trap. Breaks neck, we didn't want to live trap the skunk)
When i locked them up the first night something that looked like skunk paws dug extensively to try to get them. Last night the trap and cat food and nothing. DH is away for 4 days so trap has been put up and i released the poor birds, i don't think they will make it. Poor girls. They want asylum but his stepsis is pitching a fit. :(

Fuzzy, glad you're feeling a bit better.
Excedrin migraine does work good. I'm very picky about using it, though, since it's a 24hr dose type and you can't take any other pain relief type that has similar type ingredients during that time which doesn't work for me. I won't take it any other time except in the morning if it feels like my head has been hit with a 2x4. Otherwise, I tend to use tylenol arthritis. Weird, I know, but it works and gives the added boon of relief to my leg which I tend to suck up the discomfort with normally.

Well, I spent a very relaxed, hardly did anything day yesterday. It was nice while it lasted, but back to the running all over to get kids to appoinments. DH is starting to grumble about it all, but what can you do.

I've been on his case lately about it telling him that if the 2 oldest could learn how to drive then I wouldn't have to be wasting my time and they could just drive themselves. Thank the Lord, he's starting to crack and concede. Now he says if they get a job, they can learn. Considering they are 19 and 17, it's high time they learn!

Hey everyone! Nova love the pictures of the birds! Love the two roosters! Just don't want anymore myself! Found a home finally for the leghorn rooster. Gave him o our pastor! He loves him. Hannah love the new dog. Gigi will be praying for good results on biopsy. Tee how's life treating you. Have been so busy, trailer is coming along. My friend and I got all the drywall done except sanding it down. Almost ready to paint. Going with a old time country theme in the new trailer. Found some awesome canvas paintings last week at tractor supply. Old farm scenes churches old barns. Bought 6 of them. Getting excited to start painting. Going with a toned down barn red for living room, sage green for master bedroom, a tan for bathroom and spare room not sure yet, any suggestions are welcome. It's so hot here under heat advisories. Don't know how you alls weather is but keep cool. Hope everyone's well! God bless

Excedrin is a 24 hours dose? No poop... I guess I never read very well. I take 3, yes 3 every 4 hours when it gets really bad and coffee and closing my eyes doesn't help. Yesterday was a 3 dose only once. Today, the headache is there, but it's like, in the background, and as long as I do not think about it, I can ignore it.

I haven't been able to get the White Princess yet... So, I downloaded it off of audible.com. I am going to listen to it, and see. How's it going for you, Tee, I haven't started it yet. I hope it's a good narrator. You know, my favorite narrator has to be the lady who narrates Diana Gabaldon, Davina Porter. I have heard her narrate several other authors, and she makes even the crappiest book enjoyable. I'd love if she were to be the narrator on more of Phillipa Gregory's books. I think she did one... I think... LOL

Got this tip from an old fart AFTER my first drywall fixing attempt ; i had sanded for days and got it good and he kinda leaned on the wall and said "would have gone faster with a sponge" Aaagh! men. But i am passing it along in case it saves you some effort, that stuff is a PITA sometimes.

I saw those paintings in our TSC too. Very cute! I was looking hard at the "road home" one and the one with the white old timey looking house. My place alas is to be fern inspired, with the cream and black backdrop and bits of olivey green accents throughout. But i am going to put a nice size country star out front when i find one without any frills!
