Fuzzy! Those porcelains look fabulous! And the hen in the first picture looks like a hawk- in fact I thought she was, until I looked at the other pictures!
Good job!
Ive been up since three. My dog wanted out- the Golden. And when we walked out the back door- I could hear something tearing up wood- I figured coons. Flipped on the garage light- oops, my son isnt home *he is staying in the garage*- and I couldnt find the flash light. SO, I had to be brave. And I had no idea where my pit was- he never leaves my side at might. SO, I had to be very very brave and go behind the garage without my pit, and no flashlight...nobody but the dumb Golden even knows I am outside at three am....
And behind the garage was my pit- he had my grape vines completely tore down. *sigh* But he was jumping at the privacy fence. Thats the sound I heard of tearing up wood- his nails on the fence. I have no idea how long he has been out here, never heard a sound. He knows how to let himself out the back door. I think he taught himself because he got tired of waiting for me to get up from whereever I am to let him outside. Anyhow- I didnt have a flashlight to see what he had treed so I had to get REAL close to see what it was. I figured a coon would have ran off, a human could only be on the other side of the fence, skunks dont climb-so it had to be a oppossum. And oh was it ever! BIG one- not like the one my dog killed weeks ago.
I went in the house and got a flash light, scanned the yard, the coop, the chickens yard- nothing around. I called the dogs in. If the oppossum has any brain, it will leave by way of the privacy fence- using the neighbors yard.
Dogs just went out again- but its been an hour that I have had them inside. If the oppossum is still there- then its real dumb. My dog was so out of breath-panting when I made them come in, he could have been out there for hours. Im going to be pretty tired today, 3 is a crazy time to start the day.
