Fuzzy's Farm

Aaaagh. I finally found out what my favorite hen was mixed with, the one that died.
Bad news is she was a mutt of a very rare and expensive breed..........What i can't figure is how she ended up at that middle-of-nowhere auction? In poor condition, no less. But i am dead nut sure on this one. For that matter, how did my part buttercup roo end up there?

So guess who's going to have to save a ton? I have not owned another like her, and believe me when i say i have looked! I always buy the people friendly birds, but none compared to her absolute girlish neediness.............. We did everything together. I have her daughter, but i need more of that blood if i want to start my breeding project proper. I don't know how far i can dillute the line before i lose the character and unique shape.................
I have spangled russian orloffs. They are neat birds. I have 2 pullets and a roo :)

So... Now I want to talk like a Slovic about the Russian Bird... LOL

I see we are still closed down. UGH! Still no answers either.

OH WELL, we all have fuzzy farms anyway.

That little chick is still hanging in there. I keep waking up everyday and thinking I am going to find it dead, but nope. Its still hanging in. It realy is runty, but it is walking around, and eating and drinking. I came home from work, and its still alive. SO, I am going to give into hope and hope that it does live and I might give it a name. I am just amazed at how much smaller it is than its sibling. They both have the parents, came from the same size egg, but it is so much smaller... So, did I mention how small it is? LOL

Anyway... I have a head ache. Again. BUT I also have awesome news too! My jeep door is still on the jeep and not on the ground! I was able to close it with out a bungee cord. Was able to open it with out having to push against it, and I was so happy to not have to hold on to my door for part of my route... Ok, so that is good news for me. LOL.

Oh, and I wanted to respond to a post yesterday but could not... SO, I will now... I don't care that you only have one pair of faverolles Robin... Its all about ME! LOL. I have two! LOL, ok... SO, the cockerels are kinda worthless yet, but wait till next year! HEHEHE.

he he, my first thought was about "vanting" it. So much for my protests against the fanginess, lol. Yay for the door! You must be so excited to go to places without all the weird looks :)

Ok, now that you are all here, if anyone copied that pie crust recipe i needed to let you know that the butter HAS to be butter, not margarine. Also non salted, or it will be chewey! I forgot to add that on my post, and i was worried that someone tried the recipe and it was horrible!

Mine are REAL friendly. I've held them since they were chicks.
