I have spangled russian orloffs. They are neat birds. I have 2 pullets and a rooAaaagh. I finally found out what my favorite hen was mixed with, the one that died.
Bad news is she was a mutt of a very rare and expensive breed..........What i can't figure is how she ended up at that middle-of-nowhere auction? In poor condition, no less. But i am dead nut sure on this one. For that matter, how did my part buttercup roo end up there?

So guess who's going to have to save a ton? I have not owned another like her, and believe me when i say i have looked! I always buy the people friendly birds, but none compared to her absolute girlish neediness.............. We did everything together. I have her daughter, but i need more of that blood if i want to start my breeding project proper. I don't know how far i can dillute the line before i lose the character and unique shape.................
