My little new Serama is afraid to go into the coop at dusk- its dark in there, and she runs around scared. SO, I turned the light on inside.

Well- something happened after that- and my d'uccles became so horrid- I do not like them at all right now. First, one jumped and attacked my showgirl and made her bleed- would NOT stop, It was vicious!!!! I opened the coop and when I went to grab her off the showgirl, she flew out the pophole door. Probably a good thing I couldnt get ahold of her, or she would have spent the night in the dark in the empty rabbit hutch.

Well, I was so worried about my showgirl- blood running down her neck.. but best I could tell its just a bad scratch. Couldnt catch her either- she was so freaked out it took her about a half hour to go back inside. Soon as she did, a d'uccle chased her out again.

Well, I turned the light OFF inside the coop. Mean birds. Finally everyone was inside, and hell broke loose on the roost. I had to use my husbands flashlight to see in the window-but a d'uccle was attacking Bird and Chicken Little- til they flew down off the roost.

If they keep it up, they will either make dumplings OR I will rehome them mean d'uccles. Robin-I already told them I will take another road trip and pair them up with Rockstar Rooster.

My serema sings at night .. she is an inside tiny the terror ... im thinking when i get a roo ill get a bigger cage and raise them inside together lol She is my baby

I could convert them to indoor easily-
but I have enough critters INSIDE...
I betcha these duccles could be converted to be soup, too.

I'd take your d'Uccles if I was closer. They do get really territorial.

It's all good.

I have moments like that myself.

We just spent some time at the library. Herrick has the kids and teens section up on the second floor to keep them from annoying the other patrons who still believe a library should be quiet.

Do your boys sit in the carousel and read books or play? When I was a little kid, I loved that thing. I'm glad they kept it when they expanded. That library is so huge now.

I betcha these duccles could be converted to be soup, too.

Ah, he's not so bad as Goober, though. He's a silver sebright/oegb red pyle mix that purposely tries to bite you when you hold him.

Hahaha I'm telling you, Rockstar is part road runner and part squirrel. He is squirrely as heck and runs like the wind. Dang he is CRAZY !!!!! If the little d'Uccles don't straighten up just bring them out. There is some in the pen they will go in to straighten them out LOL. If not then Rockstar can have them and they can be crazy like him !!!!

I am reaching out to the nice lady that sold me my SFs and seeing if maybe she has more ... if so may pick up a few more in a couple of weeks have everything sterilized now and whatever it is or was that got mine besides the ones i lost to rain seems to have abated thank god !!!
