Fuzzy's Farm

There are people here who care. But unfortunately, the reality of it is, very few people care. And that is what makes it even sadder. SO, this leaves me to ask you, Robin, and you Kim, and on ocassion, I might even ask Opa when I am in want of advice that is important.

Well anyway... Today turned into a real crap askme day. I was on the route, and my brakes hit the floor. I was on the highway... Anyway, I just did a brake job, so it is not a brake problem there. I check all the wheels on the insides, nothing. I checked the master cylinder and it was low. I went to the gas station, slowly, got some dot 3, and added. Then I went and parked in a spot that was dry, and pumped the crap out of the brakes. Found it... In the dang line. At least my brakes will not be soaked with fluid... I kept at my route, kept the fluid filled. It took me almost 5 hours to do my route, but I got it done. Now the big problem, I forgot that my moms payment for her funeral insurance, so when I figured the money I needed for the LP, I left just enough money in the account for gas for the rest of the week for work and for any incedentals. SO, now I sit with 14 bucks, and leak in my brake line, and I swear if I don't get my child support check tomorrow, poop is going to hit the fan.

Oh, and now it is raining. WHOOPPEEE!

I have a section of fish tank air hose... I have clamps... I have a very redneck idea... I just need it to hold for a week... or two... Man... LOL. The other option is I cut the line, put a screw in the end, and a clamp over that, AND not need to hit the brakes hard.

Did you know, I have jerry rigged so much crap on my cars in my life, I bet I could write a book...
Ummm Nova, you can not use fish tank air line for brake lines LOL. It will not hold. You are silly.

DH is asking which brake line, are the ends that connect to the brakes rusty at all? The lines themselves aren't that much. A few bucks i think, depending on which one. I take it you can't make it tomorrow?

Do favorolles go broody ever? I like that they have extra toes but don't have the feathering on the feet........... I think wet feathers would be a bummer in the winter!

Faverolles do have feathers.....but not as much as like a Cochin or something...

I'm kinda mad at Frankie, she hatched Feb. 24 and I'm still not getting eggs from her, my Partridge Cochins, or my d'Uccles.

Not like I need any more eggs though....and they are all adorable, they hang out in a group together....and I can't really be mad at this:

muhahahaha pic spamming...

Aw, they are lovely! Yes, faverolles have foot feathers. They are supposed to be bare on the inside of the leg and inside toes, but feathered on the outside of the leg and outter toes. No, not nearly as feathered as a cochin or a silkie, but, feathered none the less.

I wasn't going to used fish hose to replace it! I was going to temporarily sleeve where the leak is until I can actually take it to the shop. AND yes, very rusty. Didn't you notice it is a rust mobile? LOL. I can't even replace the rear suspension because the body is rusting so much, I'd have to have new metal welded in to do it! LOL. I also have some hose tape that is coolant hoses, and I figure I just need it to last till payday, Tuesday if child support is not paid again. I haven't gotten any for 6 weeks now... SO, jerry rig long enough to get through ya know. If I hadn't needed the LP, I wouldn't be broke now! LOL, but hey, need heat and hot water. Nothing like having house payment, LP and cable bill paid, and then the car breaks. Isn't that how it always works though? I could do like my decease BIL would do, he'd cut the line, put a screw in it, clamp it over the screw and say to heck with that brake... LOL.

It is rear passenger side. I will be able to get under it tomorrow when it isn't raining, or after I make room in the garage if it is raining. Not so much room, and take the snow shovel to the floor to do a poo poo removal.

Skeeter usually goes back to the big coop after a week or so after hatching. She's still living in the garage. I am going to have to do something... Skatter's chicks are due to hatch in 2 days... She needs that brooder box.

Poo on the feather legs. Is there a breed that has extra toes that doesn't? I have the d'uccles with the feathers, and i am thinking i don't want any more than that. It's cute in theory, but reality is they are poop tracking machines! I read that feathered feet are hard to breed out too, since it's a dominant trait.

I am thinking about doing a painting of my pair i lost. I have done watercolors before, but i usually do them while the animal is alive, so i can capture the expression in their eyes............. I am going between doing it myself and waiting and saving for a byc'er to do it. She will do it from a pic, and she's one of the few artists i've seen that actually get the eyes right. Idk though, now they are gone it may be too personal for someone else....... This is a little painting i did of my parakeets
