Fuzzy's Farm

I was caught chicken cuddling and sun bathing by the UPS man today... I had flannel PJ pants on, a sweater to hide the fact that I was missing my over the shoulder boulder holder, my glasses, and my coop/muck boots. It was ridiculous.
I didn't want to set Nugget down because he would lose his balance and flap all over the place like he was having a seizure, so I carried him to the UPS guy and he says "Awww is he sick?"
I said "Not really. He has wry neck. It is a vitamin deficiency."
Remember... I am in a sweater and flannel PJ pants... He says, "This weather is crazy, right? 75 degrees!!!"

Well, I am going to go and read to my kid. Believe it or not, we are reading a book titled "Louise, The Adventures of a Chicken" tonight. LOL. We also read a book called "Zinnia and Dot", and that was also a chicken book. That one was about two hens who did not get along, fought over everything from who had the best looking eggs, and who was the prettiest. And while they were fighting, a weasel saw his chance and came in, made a big mess and ate all the eggs except one. So, the two hens fought over who the egg belonged to. THEN they both sat on in, and wouldn't even talk to each other. Then the weasel attacked again, and the hens whooped his butt, and the chick hatched and they both raised it together and became friends. Was a great story for little kids.

Well anyway, nite all, pray for clear skies in the morning so I can get a good look at the line, and pray I get my child support check so I can go to the shop, or buy the line. Yup.

Fuzzy, your new avie is very nice, and your water painting is too. ALSO, if I can get it fixed in time, I will let you know, and if all goes right, should be there but I can't stay long, because I have to be back to the bowling alley at 2. Don't worry about making a pie for me either. I don't want you to waste your time or money if can't show up. That and my butt really doesn't need it. SO, cross your fingers that I can get it fixed.

Cute! I like kids with chickens. There's just something "right" about it.

I guess centuries of us women being told to do the gardening and the chicken tending with the kids........................And now they want us out there working on other stuff, but here our brains are still glued to the homefront.....................:)

But don't push to get here, if you can't that's ok. The kind of mood i've been in lately you'd probably end up posed with chickens or something...........lol. Yup, it's cooler weather and i'm camera happy :D I'll give you a happy avie!

You shoulda seen me out in my PJs trying to get three goats out from under the UPS truck. Oh yeah, and they all have collars too. (The black one's is pink, the brown ones is blue with brown polka dots and the...other one...she's hard to explain has a purple one.) The guy started laughing when I was just hissing Baby Goat! You come here right now missy! You're gonna get killed! Then the chickens were eating bugs off the front and I just shrugged. Then my d'Uccle flew like 10 feet onto my head........yeah, I think we might be the crazy people.
