Kim I wonder if the stress from not knowing what was going on aided the seizures. Now that she knows she has the cyst, she "knows" what is going on and can relax a little.

I think I would be slightly relieved to know my brain wasn't just going crazy and there is something behind the seizures.
I really hope you can get better help at the children's hospital

Well, I'm going to have to get going. I have to go pick up my little hot dog from school.

That is awesome! Good for her!

OH! My kid got the part of "Max" from "Where the monsters are" for the first graders play! He was so excited to picked.

Where the Wild Things Are? It would be cute to see 1st graders doing a play!

I have not read the book in years... but I hated the movie.

think that has her more stressed. What if it bursts? What is it doing there? Get it out- oh no what if it has to get out? etc.

The new med seems to be doing good. No seizures last night. Or yesterday.

Last night she went to the mall with her sister- for just an hour. I had to go get her. She was exhausted and her head hurt. All part of recovering from the past week. keeping our fingers crossed here.

Happy Sweetest Day, Michiganders. For Sweetest Day, my husband left to go hunting and left me home to deal with everything.

I just watched Felix Baumgartners 24 mile free fall from the stratosphere! He was falling at like 730 mph! I guess he did this on Sunday last... O. M. G! That is just nuts.

Isn't that amazing? I can't even imagine stepping out of the 'plane'.

But you want to know what helped him the most?
Bundling him up and sitting on the porch while it was raining! He stopped coughing within a few minutes.
Now his windows are open and the humidifier is on and he is sleeping.
I just keep going in to check on him. I will probably camp out in his room tonight. He has never had croup and I have heard it can get really serious

Here is hoping it won't!

I will allow it to rain as long as long as it keeps DS asleep and cough free! Keep the rain coming!...Just over my house is fine with me!

I hoped it keeps helping BYF! Just the sound of rain is soothing.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed also. Sounds like at least she's got a bit of relief. Hope that your childrens hospital can help. I still can't believe they didn't tell you about the cyst.

Nova- enjoy that play~!!! I remember having to sit and suffer *shhh* through my sixteen yr olds plays when she was little- and her part was a TREE! seriously. She stood there. a tree. hahahahahhaa Now though at sixteen, they have given her a part as a speaking little BOY who wont stop eating glue.
Oh, so hilarious how well she fits that part.

When kids are little they are so cute trying to remember their lines and sounding like they are reading off a teleprompter. You should video the play.

I hope your son is doing better today. Croup sucks and the sleeplessness wears you and the little guy out.
