Supposably the chickens are ok, but turkeys and cattle NO.

NO you are not supposed to eat the greens, but if they are cooked sufficiently they won't kill you. I wouldn't go there myself. If it is poison when it's raw, that's good enough for me!

I ate a berry once because my neighbor claimed they were ok, (she had been drinking adult beverages)...................They taste like crushed asprin and numb the mouth. Yuck. She must've been farther along than she claimed! lol. Chickens won't die from it from the sounds of it, but myself i would pull them and dispose of them just in case. If nothing else, to preserve the flavor of your eggs!

We got family fun night tonight. I want to go with just the boys... but mom says she's going too. WTH? you figure she'd enjoy some peace and quiet, but no. I told her I wanted to take them my self, and she insists. This is going to make it a not fun night for me.

Really? I don't think I've ever seen the chickens eat them, but I'll definitely get rid of them all now.

that is the other word..poke salad plant .. lol my grandpa loved them and used to have some every spring i would not try it .. i dont like greens at all .. i know southern and not a green eater how odd ... for the record i do not eat many foods southern in nature to me ... fried okra or fried green maters or squash lol a lot of stuff i do not eat that my family tried to raise me on i dont eat it now or then lol
