Sheesh! y'all see the time!? LOL

I just got home. John broke down, well not really broke down, but his muffler pipe broke... fell... Anyway, had to run out to GH (NOT GENERAL HOSPITAL! BUT JASON IS SO HOT! HE CAN'T BE DEAD! BET DUKE LAVERY HAS HIM!" to bring him a coat hanger and a jack. Got the pipe wired up and came home. Both boys are sleeping on the couch, I am going to enjoy having my bed to myself! Oh yeah! Yes, those rotten turds get out of their beds and come get into mine. SO, If I can get to sleep before they show up wanting mommy, then all the better. Then they just sneak in and I wake up and there they are!

Anyway... Burn barrel babies. HEHE.

Got to put the plastic sheeting up tomorrow. Enjoying these lower gas prices. Maybe can afford to buy a big supersized coffee from starbucks with the money I am not spending on gas. GO ELECTIONS! I will enjoy it for the next two weeks. Maybe it will last through the winter. One can dream... It is good to have dreams, and You don't make fun of peoples dreams cuz that means you have none of your own. LOL

2 SG roos

I think I need a maran hen to get some dark chocolate eggs!!!
I can't believe I only have 8 chickens... sometimes it seems like there are a lot more.

Dang it... now I want chocolate too.

If only gas was .99 again. You can't even get a burger for that anymore.
I am only 25 and I remember gas being that low! And I remember my parents complaining about THAT so it was even lower than .99 after I was born!
It took 20 years to go from .99 to $4!!!
My dad probably makes less/ same amount as he did then too.

Cost of living my butt! Morgan Spurlock proved you cannot live on minimum wage anymore! Will they up it? Probably not.

My son just yells from his bed for me. Some nights it is exhausting to get up and see what he wants... but atleast I know he won't wander while I am sleeping.
His theory is "If the sun is up... I and everyone else should be too"
Mama is too much of a night owl to be up at the butt crack of dawn on the weekend.

The closest I have come to soaps is Gossip Girl... they had people "die" and come back, babies lost, baby daddy drama, just LOTS of drama, one girl becoming a princess... Obsurd! All of it. I can't keep track of a soap! I would need a flow chart and a flow chart inside a flow chart to keep up!

MY FIL loves Days ... watches it almost religiously before coming up here i had not seen it in oh at least 10 years ... things were not much different and still arent lol its definitely crazy ... i like being able to predict whats next ..so far so good past few weeks lol

So Tues/ Wed then for the wind/rain/ice?? I don't think it matters WHERE you live with something that size Thanks for letting us know, i will do a backup plan with DH's uncle just in case i can't get to the birds myself. He has fed and watered before, likes chickens.

I already put henry into the buttercup comb one, The only other one that lets me give close ups anymore is cookie and she's barely got one! I miss my lap babies very much still.

Hmm. googled away and so far just wind/rain for us, but there was mention in one article for sending MI stuff to help the affected states, so..........? And unemployment over there (of course) so it will affect us, just in different ways. I feel so bad for those people who live in those states.

I am worriede more about the chicks in the bator than the big guys ...we fixed up the pens with tarp etc to help keep out wind rain snow whatever may come ... hopefully we do not lose anyone outside to this ... and we do not lose power ... even if we had wanted water to store at the house today there was NONE to be had at 3 stores ... well at least we will have cold running water and a wood stove to boil it on !!
