Dad has these barrels we forgot about and we are gonna pull two of them into the garage tommorow and fill them for the animals .... we actually will have running water if the power goes out...just not warm water ... i just am paranoid and would be boiling and cooling it for us and the animals before consumption ... but for us just in case we are filling other stuff ... food wise im a little worried but may get MIL to go into town tommorow ... too many people there for me already today.... and see what kinda "extra" she can get .... bread and water were sold out but im thinking while there is stil lpower tommorow i can bake us some bread ... and we have eggs ... and the wood burning stove and a cast iron pan to cook them in .... so we should be ok ...

I need to figure out where to get that green corrogated plastic/fiberglass panels.........I am gonna price how much it would be to make a different 8'x8' coop...............I want a raised coop with a permanent axcess to a run built under it, a trap door cut in the floor. I could do it with the camper, but i am wondering at this point which would be cheaper................... I have to re-do the roof, walls, tile...........I know if i dig around enough i can find stuff on the cheap and make something cute!

Next question is how much difference would there be in coldness with a plastic panel for a wall vs an actual wood wall? I thought about doing a real roof an using this stuff on the wall, putting in a few windows. If i do it i don't think i want an insulated wall because of moisture and mice? (So no "layers")

Got to put the plastic sheeting up tomorrow. Enjoying these lower gas prices. Maybe can afford to buy a big supersized coffee from starbucks with the money I am not spending on gas. GO ELECTIONS! I will enjoy it for the next two weeks. Maybe it will last through the winter.

And there's the jinx. Our stations went back up today. I'm thinking hurricane on this one. Prices always seem to go up when there's storms or such that could cause issues even if they aren't for necessarily for us.

I asked for flock raiser at Chaps and he asked if I had pigeons???? I guess a lot of people have pigeons.
