Fuzzy's Farm

First off, Good morning Robin. (even though it is nite now) I was on quick this morning, and off, because I was rushing...

Today was a sucky day for working. I ended up buying a bill cap just to keep my hair from blowing every which way and loose. I had to bag and rubber band some papers because the wind was just taking off with everything. Not looking forward to Thursdays complaint list.

Jace had bible club tonight, so I had an extra hour to get a bunch of crap done that I would have done yesterday had I not been a moaning baby. I went to LOWES, and was in there when my mom called me and asked me if I was ok. I told her I was buying my pvc pipe, and apologized for scaring the poop out of her. I got pipe, connectors, glue, fasteners and zip ties for 28 bucks. Then I went and got my moms pills and two pumpkins for the boys to carve/paint and came home, got out the hack saw, made 15 foot poles. Glued them and then taped them too for extra measure. I am a dork. I know. I started getting them up while I was waiting for Jace to get out of bible club. Here is what I was doing...

I have to put up 3 more still, I have 7 up now. BOY WAS IT A PITA! to do by myself.

I also dumped a half bag of wood chips in the big coop. I guess now when I refer to the big coop, I guess it is a big coop. the big coop, now that I have walled in the summer coop is 8x12. It has a 4x12 area (that runs under the 4x8 coop that is part of the big coop, but the original underrun from the original coop) that is just a big dust bath. Well anyway, I will get a tarp in the next day or so and ask the neighbor to help me get it up and over if I can not manage to get it myself.

As for the gall bladder. I called my dads doctor, I know, my dad is gone, but Dr. Young was a good friend. He's going to do me an ultra sound and compare my last ultra sound to see how much worse the stones are. I'll let ya know Friday. Yesterday was an awful experience...

MsB, hope your Little guy gets better.

Silver, I am so glad you came through the storm in good shape. Some down trees, but hey, fire wood.

Hi Wynette!

AND, Hi, to everyone else.

Fuzzy, Let me know when things settle down with work, I'd still like to come on out for a visit.

Gotta go carve some pumpkins!

Pumpkins are carved and lit up. I set them on the shelf just outside the front door. I was amazed at how dry they were inside. It seems that they were slimier when I was a kid. Maybe I just remember them slimier cuz I was a kid. LOL.

BYFM, about that hen, for the link, I think she's already gotten her answer. speckledhen, the one time mod, she is very very familiar with the issue, and repsonded with pictures. She had the same darn problem with them SLW and GLW, that I had with my 3 SLWs. AND, the neighbors SLW is doing the same darn thing. Him and I both got ours from FFH who is supplied by Townline. Make's ya wonder, doesn't it, what they are doing, or what is happening to have this happen. I was beginning to wonder if it wasn't because I have everyone on Flockraiser/Multiflock with free choice oyster. BUT all of his birds are on a layer mash, and look! Same thing is happening to his hen. Just rediculous.

Mom, i don't know what to think about that MRI either. Puzzling. I thought they would see something? Or they did see it but it was small enough that they thought it was OK? I am also puzzled as to why they aren't trying to shrink it? Don't make sense. I have gathered from reading though that the cysts are actually more common than people think, they just don't show symptoms. Could be why they aren't wanting to get you worried, only it is worrying you more!

I figure Lowe's. I was going to get my supplies at the farm store then decided to look it up on Lowe's web site. It was half the cost there! I need a tarp the is minimum 15 x 20. But I'd like one that is 20x30 or there abouts. I think I might get 2 more PVC pipes, make a 20 foot center bar across the top to keep the two ends straight. Or run a 2x4 up the side of te run, the attach the two end hoops to that along with the center bar weaved thru the middle hoops or cross tied in to keep every thing in place before tarping.
