I think I have TWO showgirl roos. One has rounded head feathers the two I think are roos have a more swept back look. The silkie I have no clue.

I ended up really lucky with the quail. I have a male and two hens.

BTW- I am getting NO eggs from any chickens. I dont know if they are laying in some secret spot or if they are not laying at all. Im going to try spying on them this early mornng and see.

morning everyone!

My only wish this day is that me (and you all) get through this day in one piece!

Holidays make me sad, and are stressfull. I will put on a happy face and go to see my family, it is the one joy this time of year brings!

I am seriously considering putting my 3 babies into a rabbit cage and bringing them along for the ride

My family has expressed curiosity about my chickens, and had many questions about them at this summer's graduation party. I think i made a good case against the "dirty birds" idea, but they were dubious about any bird being as affectionate as i claimed.......... i think a cocoa baby is just the thing to prove this! She will need a buddy or two to come so she isn't stressed, so i am torn between my "keepers" and the little silver hen, she is a huge cuddler too and the blue hen likes attention but is shy like her mother (a princess baby) The white rooster is a complete ham

This will give me a chance to let them outside, the others will have to stay in the camper on account of the bigger birds and they don't know about hawks yet.

I'm sorry friends, things did not go well today. I don't know if i will be able to keep up online, i have to move out and i don't know if i will be able to use a computer or not.
