Gadz! they gobbled up rabbit food.

So my chicks are in the run, and they are about to be weaned off mash.
Suddenly, I see them gathered around the rabbit feed bin, gobbling down the green rabbit food like no tomorrow.
Are they going to get sick? Can they handle the rabbit food?
Silly silly chooks.

Mine do that too if the bunny drops any. I think it's fine. It is mainly plant based anyway.

If they're just getting the spillage it should be fine, mine do that too. The protien etc. in rabbit food is very similar to chicken feed but it has more salt then is good for the chooks and more calcium in it then is good for youngsters.
