Gagging chick

[Chickchix]

I posted on the "emergencies..." board, but wanted to put a "feeler" in this room. My 6 day old chick is making gagging motions and sticking her neck out, but not chirping. There's a video of her on the other board. Pooping, drinking, eating fine. Crop is about the same as the other chicks' as far as size and squishiness. Any ideas??

Every chick I had ever know had done this... I always assumed it was the chicks way of yawning, but obviously if every chick I have had did it, it wasn't a serious problem.

Thats what mine do. I think its yawning. The silkie has been doing it for over a year.

Mine was doing it yesterday too. I was nervous but kept a close eye on him. Was acting normally and he just stopped after a bit. It was scary though. Looked like he had something stuck in his throat the way he was acting but he's not doing it anymore.
